MINIMUM ADVERTISED PRICE (MAP) POLICY

This Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) Policy is established to protect the integrity of the AV1 brand, ensure a level playing field for all resellers, and maintain the perceived value of our products. All sellers, distributors, and dealers (collectively referred to as "Sellers") are expected to comply with this policy for all advertised pricing.

1.      Scope of the Policy

This MAP Policy applies to all AV1 products listed in the attached MAP Product List. The policy covers all forms of advertising, including but not limited to: websites, social media platforms, email marketing, print advertising, in-store displays, and any other public promotional material.

2.      Minimum Advertised Price (MAP)

The minimum advertised price for AV1 products shall not be lower than the prices specified on AV1USA.COM.  This price must be adhered to in all forms of advertisement, but sellers are free to sell the products at any price they choose.

3.      Advertising Guidelines

  • Sellers may not advertise any AV1 product at a price below the MAP.

  • Discounts, coupons, or other promotions that result in an advertised price below the MAP are prohibited.

  • "Call for Price" or similar statements in place of a price are not allowed.

  • Free shipping, gift cards, and bundled offers are allowed as long as the advertised price of the product remains at or above the MAP.

4.      Violations

  • First Violation: Written warning with 7 business days to correct the violation.

  • Second Violation: Suspension of the account for 30 days.

  • Third Violation: Permanent termination of the reseller agreement.

AV1 reserves the right to monitor advertised pricing and enforce this policy at its discretion.

5.      Policy Changes

AV1 reserves the right to modify or update this policy at any time. Resellers will be notified of changes, and continued advertising of AV1 products will constitute acceptance of the updated MAP Policy.
